The institute facilitates a good set up of computer lab with high
speed latest machines. A separate telephone line for internet access
is provided for the computer lab. Each student is provided an
individual system for training. Students are well familiar with
Oracle, VB, C, C++, Networking – Languages, Operating System -
Linux, Windows. Student worked on Client-Server technologies for
near real-time project education.
Infrastructure
The institution houses in its shelter all the state of the art
equipments. All the departments are having well experienced and
qualified technical supporting staff to train the students in the
state of art technology. Also the institution has an excellent
library with spacious reading room accommodating about 100 students
for study in peaceful environment. A large number of text and
reference books are available for use by students & faculty.
A number of technical magazines and journals are also available.
The institute believes that the creation of Engineers is as much
as building a nation.
It has well experienced staff having sound knowledge in their relevant
field and is always at the service of the students. The staff members of
all departments are involved in taking up the external projects apart from
their regular academic activities and handling them efficiently i.e. the
institution is completely utilizing the manpower for the service of students
and nation.
Few examples are: The civil Engineering Department has tagged up with the Karnataka Slum clearance
board and handling the work, The Mechanical Engineering department has taken the work of fabrications,
The Automobile Engineering department has opened an automotive workshop, currently the department is undertaking
the servicing & repair work of four wheelers (light motor vehicle), also the department has computerized wheel
aligner, wheel balancing and emission tester (gas analyzer)
Library
The College Library supports the teaching mission of
the College. The library has a collection contains huge volumes, with many serial
subscriptions. The library maintains extensive holdings in Automobile, Civil, Computers,
Electronics, Mechanical and Electrical. The library is well equipped with
latest computer. The library has ample of space with Good ventilation &
furniture.
Issue of Books
Every Student will be issued books for home
reading on borrower's card and for reference on identity card in the library. Students
can also avail more books on deposit basis during the examination for a
period of two months.

given for each semester.

Career Guidance & Placement Cell
The institute is having good name & relationship with the surrounding
industries like Jindal Vijaynagar Steels, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries,
Kalayani Steels, HKT Industries, Indian Sugar Refiners, etc.,. A career
guidance cell is working in the college in a view to promote the career
of the students rolling out of the college every year. It covers the
programmes of personality development of students, help the students in
getting jobs in National & international companies, arranges campus
interviews.
Other Wings
The Institution has NSS unit promoted by Government of Karnataka. Students can take
membership for the scheme every year. By joining this scheme, the students can involve
in social services, personality development, group activities etc., Under this scheme,
regular camps are conducted in various villages every year where student can take part to
serve the rural development and to create social awareness.
